What’s new

Every Ebutia release, and what changed in it.

2.0.1 2 September 2026

Summaries come back on their own. Open a video you already summarized and it is waiting in the sidebar.
Links inside a summary can be clicked, and confirmations show inside the panel in your theme.
Continue in your chatbot: choose what to send, the transcript or this conversation, and watch each step happen.
Text size: small, medium or large, from the panel or a chat’s menu.
A short tour points out the panel’s features the first time you use them.
A welcome page opens once after install, and removing Ebutia asks one optional question.
Fixes: the sidebar docking after you browse the home page, and the language chosen on first install.

Summarize any YouTube video from the page itself. Point at a thumbnail or press the button on the video. No API keys, no extra account.
Ask a follow-up question about a video without opening it.
A dashboard that adds up the time you saved, by week, by month, or over any range.
Every summary is kept as a chat you can reopen, search, pin and continue.
Custom prompts, a summary language, and per-channel rules that apply on their own.
Send any video to ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Grok or Mistral with the prompt already written.
English and Arabic, light and dark, Chrome and Firefox.

Ebutia was rebuilt for 2.0. The versions before it were an earlier product with a different approach.
